Description

The word ‘cutlery’ refers to ‘that which cuts’. For more than 700 years Sheffield knives and cutlery have been created by highly skilled Sheffield craftsmen and their names are amongst the most famous in the industry’s history. The first reference to a Sheffield cutler dates to 1297. William Abdy continues to work with these Craftsmen to bring hand made products into our kitchen and reduce consumption and waste for our furture generations.

Cream Handle 8″ Cook’s Knife

Hand made in Sheffield by an experienced Craftsman using the same techniques that made Sheffield knives famous all over the world. Every knife is truly unique. Available in a variety of sizes for chopping and cutting. Straight edged, it has a broad blade that curves upwards towards the tip to allow the knife to rock. The spine is thick to add weight and strength for a greater cutting force. Square bolster, cream handle scales and brass rivets.
